Uihhh und ich wunderte mich warum ich seit einer Stunde in der Gegen umher fahre und es auch beim Europa Naiv und einer 2014er Ram Version keinen DAB Empfang gibt.
Leider ist wegen der Feiertage mein Dealer nicht greifbar, aber wenn ich den Aufwand sehe mit der Weiche uns so weiter... dann ärgert es mich doch das man sowas selbst
machen muss und nicht gleich von vorne herein funktionell ab Werk kommt

Toll aber das Ihr euch die Mühe macht der Sache auf den Grund zu gehen!

Hast halt den falschen Dealer

Bei/von meinem Dealer wurde sofort eine DAB Antenne im A-Holm verbaut - zwar ohne Verstärker/Weiche ... aber es funktionierte sozusagen "ab Werk" .
Das es wirklich ab Werk nicht funktioniert ist doch klar .. NOCH ist der RAM nicht "offiziell" in D zu kaufen ....warum soll Chrysler also
teuere Hardware in Fahrzeugen verbauen die in Ländern verkauft werden die DAB gar nicht haben ?!?!?
Aber das es klappt und Chrysler es kann ist kein Thema - der GC Jeep bringt es ja ab Werk mit ...

You all know that these units have problems with radio reception and other issues. The BIG problem is that NONE of today's conversions are UPDATABLE! Meaning that it's not possible to update the software (firmware) or the maps for the unit without losing the conversion.

Some modifications have had their update feature disabled, so the map and firmware versions you had from the start is what you would have been stuck with forever. Today's navigation/infotainment systems are just as advanced as any pad, laptop or cellphone and need regular updates to fix bugs, issues and add new features.

For example the first firmware out was 12.43 (Year 12, Week 43) and the latest release to date is 13.43. (Year 13, Week 43) (13.43 has new features)

funktioniert nicht - Du brauchst jeweils ein license-file mit VIN-number - die Kosten entstehen beim license-file und nicht die paar Euro für den USB-Stick ...

Wenn du schon ein Europa Navi hast, musst du denen ein Beweis geben, dass es bereits umgestellt wurde, das heisst die wollen die Seriennummer des Navis mit der jetzigen aufgespielten Firmware Nummer. Dann bekommst du den Stick für 99 Euro. Ich habe mal eine Mail verschickt. Das ist ja mal interessant, dass man updaten kann.

man bekomm sehr wohl die Software um mehrere Fahrzeuge zu 'befruchten'. Für die eigentliche Installation brauchst aber ein license-file mit Deiner VIN - ansonsten geht es nicht !

:mrgreen: Dafür, dass die das schon so lange machen, ist das ein echter Lapsus... "VP3/4 ROW" ist RJ3/4 und nicht RA3/4. "VP3/4 NA" hingegen ist "RA3/4". Da war wohl einer sehr aufgeregt

Bin mal gespannt, wann das Zeug erhältlich ist und ob es hält, was es verspricht...

Genau so ist es. Man braucht für jedes Fahrzeug ein Lizenz-File, aber nicht für jedes einen neuen Stick. Man kann die Lizenzen für all die Fahrzeuge, die man konvertieren will, zusammen auf den Stick packen und dann den Rest des Tages von Wagen zu Wagen laufen
